It is with great pride the WE welcome our first South African school to the safariLIVE schools adventure. Roedean School for girls has been joining the safariLIVE crew on the world's largest safari vehicle over the past few weeks.
The school aims to develop each young lady as a truly unique and free individual with the ambition, intelligence and confidence to leave her own distinctive mark on the world. This gives rise to the school’s philosophy “Inspiring a life of significance,” an ethos equally appreciated at safariLIVE. The school aims to inspire a future generation of women and give them the necessary skills to for success in a competitive global climate.
Over the course of our Roedean school safari’s we had a number of young ladies joining us from a variety of different schooling levels. WE hosted grade 0, 1 and 2 and were able to share some incredible sightings! All of africa’s iconic animals came out on cue and the ride was made all the more enthralling by the wonderful questions our expert guides received! These drives also had a special significance for one of our very own presenters, Jamie. Having been educated at Roedean herself, Jamie was elated at the chance to give back to this bright young generation of women.

This culminated in Jamie and Brent visiting the school and hosting an interactive session with them about living and working in the bush. The girls were overjoyed at getting a chance to speak to their safari heroine and hero of course! It was a morning filled with excitement and adventure. Jamie and Brent also spoke about the importance of conservation and what it is safariLIVE aims to achieve.
